"TOUGH, SMART, FAIR, PREPARED – YOU WANT LYNN GORELICK ON YOUR SIDE. I was panicked, possibly facing a 3rd DUI charge/conviction. My life seemed doomed. I needed an extraordinary attorney to be my advocate. I couldn't take any chances of rolling the dice with my life. I interviewed several attorneys and thank God, I found Lynn. I was expecting miracles and believe it or not, she produced miraculous results. I knew when I first met Lynn that she would fight for me to the bitter end and she did. Lynn’s commitment to her clients is exemplary. DUI Defense in Alameda County, Contra Costa County & the Bay Area
When faced charges of Driving Under the Influence, nothing is more important than taking whatever measures are necessary to ensure you are not found guilty. That starts by contacting an experienced and skilled criminal defense lawyer who has a proven track record of success. Criminal charges can quickly lead to a conviction without the proper defense. Hiring a knowledgeable and seasoned defense attorney to defend your interest and fight your charges will significantly increase your chances of winning your case and avoiding a conviction. With nearly 30 years of experience in defending people charged with DUI, Lynn Gorelick has the knowledge, the skill, and the training to defend you both in the Superior Court and with the Department of Motor Vehicles.
DUI IS A CRIME, not just a traffic ticket. This may mean a felony or misdameanor, depending upon the degree of the offense. A DUI misdemeanor has a maximum penalty of six months to one year in the county jail; a DUI felony conviction may require time in state prison.
At the time of your arrest, you should have received a pink sheet of paper that is your Temporary Driver License. You have TEN DAYS from the date of your arrest to contact the DMV and request a hearing, or your Driver License will be suspended. The DMV does not automatically give you a hearing - you must contact them and demand a hearing. Having a hearing may mean the difference between keeping and losing your license.
For anyone facing criminal charges, it’s essential to find a defense attorney you can trust to handle your case. With Lynn Gorelick, you can feel confidant knowing your case is being personally handled by an attorney who not only has over 25 years of experience, but who also was voted Alameda County’s best law firm for six straight years. Ms. Gorelick’s many years of criminal defense practice in the Bay Area has given her the opportunity to build solid relationships with judges and other court officials, and has earned her a superb reputation within the legal community.
